New Fire Engine - A 2010 Wolverine type 1 fire engine is on order. The new rig will have a 750 gallon water tank , and can pump 1500 gallons per minute when connected to a fire hydrant. It will also have a 250 gallon CAF (Compressed Air Foam) system that can pump a 1000 gallons a minute to assist with structural and wildland fires.

FireSafe Council of Greater Julian - The purpose of the FireSafe Council of Greater Julian is to provide education, exchange information and foster fire prevention and fire safety within the Julian mountain communities in the County of San Diego. CERT- The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) assists authorities with local and County wide disasters. If you would like to get involved with this program, contact the District Office at (760) 765-1510 or come into the District office at 2645 Farmer Rd. Learn more by clicking here.

The District provides residential hydro/final construction inspections and business inspections.
