The governing board of the Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District is comprised of five members elected at-large to serve four year terms. Members of the Board of Directors set district policy and provide direction to the staff on matters concerning the business of the Fire District. 

Board Meetings of the Julian Cuyamaca Fire Protection District are held at 6:00 PM the second Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at the Julian Fire Station, 3407 Hwy. 79, Julian CA 92036.

The following are scheduled meetings for 2019:

Second Tuesday of the month at 6 PM at Julian Fire Station, 3407 Hwy. 79, Julian CA 92036

Fourth  Tuesday of the month at 10 AM at Julian Fire Station, 3407 Hwy. 79, Julian CA 92036 (this fourth Tuesday meetings will only be for the first three months of 2019)
